Anyone who has known me for awhile knows that I have suffered several low back injuries over the years. Usually, I end up in therapy, get depressed and lose 40lbs.
Well yesterday I decided to add some volume on my light leg day and did 4 sets of squats with 230, high reps I felt so good, no back pain at all so I decided to do my last set with a pause at the bottom. So on the forth rep, there I am with my ass on the floor when I felt a bit of pain, when I stood up it was all I could do to rack the weight and I couldn't stand up straight, I don't mean because it hurt, I mean I couldn't. Anyway,I've got bulgers at L4 & 5. No need to reply, I just wanted to bitch a little.

I refuse to even think about surgery at this point. I am able to walk as of yesterday, and I hope to be in the gym on monday, maybe forearms and anterior tib.

i hear you mate, i to have ongoing lowerback trouble the injury i can feel all day long and of late i cant even train. i was told surgery could leave me crippled so i wont go that route if avoidable. i feel it more sitting than standing which is good. the backs a bastard.
