IMO a Chiro.  will screw you up more than anything and when they start poping then you will have to keep going back to them to relieve pressure in your bones.

And there is no way in hell I would go to one if my back was not straight what happens if they do something the wrong way then you are screwed up for life.

Hey bro,

I have been seeing the same chiro for the past year. he fixed my neck bulge but couldnt do shit to my slip L4 L5 disk. NOw i just tell to just do the heat and electro shock but no adjustments. Think he made it worst.

I played college football at a BIG school up north, and they had a chiropractor on staff, he really helped me and all of the other guys loved him! We would all talk about how good we felt after an adjustment. I really think its just finding a really good one, I wish I could still see this guy. As for some of the other docs and PTs, I never really got anything positive from them like with the chiropractor. I have a few friends that went pro, and they all still see chiropractors.

I finally started seeing one after about 6 mo of soreness in my back. I like many others do not have a straight spine, but my guy only focuses on the lower back, which is where the problem is. He mentioned that his philosophy is "don't fix something that is not broken". He will ask me how my mid and upper back are doing and I tell him fine and thats the end of it. I feel great afterwards and feel comfortable in his care. I think that it is a matter of finding the right one and finding insurance that pays for it. Mine covers 60, yes sixty, visits per year, so I go once a week. Definitely check around because I have heard some horror stories. Good luck bro! biggrin.gif
