alright, im putting it in the forum because it is a problem for me, lol. My girl has absolutely no sex drive at all, she is on zoloft, but she claims she never has really had a sex drive, she said she doesnt enjoy and never has, so obviously this is becoming very difficult when i am On, and its just putting extra stress on the relationship, so i didnt know if there was anything she could try, or do, i care about her so im not going to leave her just on the basis of lack of sex, but its hard to see a hot girl walking in public and not give it to her, its about 100x as hard to be with a hot girl all the time and not give it to her, lol all advice is welcome

well the zoloft is EXTREMELY neg on sex drive for females from my own experience. I knew one that was on and no drive at all but went off and was horny. perhaps she has always been depressed and thats also a huge downer sexually and maybe she needs to possible switch meds or just come off them and fight. idk i could be totally off but this is my experience i have seen. Everyone enjoys sex, if they dont the experience has either been uncomfortable for them or there are other factors within their own heads effecting this. My friend "never liked it" either till she was off meds and off birthcontrol, than she wanted to get into my pants all the time. If all else fails you can give cialis a shot and see what happens as it will have some effect on the anatomy im sure

Very true. You dont stand a chance while shes on the Zoloft. I took it once years back for a situational thing and had to stop because I felt subhuman with zero sex drive. Could be that she has always been depressed or has other issues which will complicate things further. Has she been to her MD to get her hormone levels checked. They do use some low dose transdermal test with women for libido (I am recommending from her DR, not anything online as this should be monitored by her DR). Have her go to her DR or an endocrinologist and let them check her hormones. IMO its going to be one of the two, if its the first maybe try therapy for her.

yeah i knew zoloft had that affect, and i suggested to her previously about getting off it, she is just worried that she will become as depressed as she was before, personally my opinion on anti-depressants is mixed, i think it is way over prescribed, and i dont think everyone needs them, but im not about to get into a fight over it with her, is there anything i could suggest her changing too? I was on Lexapro and that had no affect on my sex drive tho it only being 10mg ed

If there is any hope on an anti d for sex its probably going to be wellbutrin. Im not a DR and have very limited experience here but something to look into.

One other thing is you might look into some supplements. I know for example that some women on another board claim Yohimbine HCL (has to be HCL) gets them going. Some have said that taking Gingko Biloba is supposed to help counteract that side. Maybe just look around and read and see what you find.

GET OFF THE ZOLOFT!!!!!! I never agree with head pills regardless of situation because there is never a good time to come offf them and it ALWAYS fucks with your head and body. When a girl isnt into it i just start stroking my bone and dump my goo on her belly, if that doesnt get her into it idk what will.

I disagree. Now Zoloft might not be the best med for her but some people go through situational things where being medicated temporarily can take the edge off to enable the person to deal with issues easier and get to a better place. I have watched several of my friends go on them through divorces or other transitional times and it really helped them cope. Now if your on them for longer than say 6 months or so you probably need to reevaluate if your just using them as a crutch but the girl may need the medication at this time. I would think most people would be anxious to get things figured out to get off the meds as noone wants to go through daily life with a flat affect and no sex drive.
