Sup bros, I just got a wonderful surprise in the mail today, the problem is that I hurt My shoulder alittle over a week ago and I cant lift now. The doctor wouldn't give me a cortisone shot like I wanted, so he gave me celebrex. (anti, inflammatory) He said he wants to try more mild stuff first. Now that I have my gear, I want to get back to the damn gym ASAP!! angry2.gif Spring time is right around the corner! If I start taking this shit, will it help my shoulder, or is it a waste of gear????? please help out bros.

Bump for cissus.

If you think gear will help I'd recommend NPP, you'll have the joint benefits of deca, but with a much shorter ester. NPP needs to be injected every 2-3 days.

I obviously don't know the exact nature of your injury. But in terms of rehab exercises (in terms of supps, bump on Cissus/NPP), I always find the following very helpful for shoulders:

a) Rotator Cuff exercises (internal/external rotation)
cool.gif Front/Side delt raises (40-50 rep range)
c) Static holds (at the position where you would be at the top of a Front/Side delt raise)

Good luck, injuries are incredibly frustrating. Be extra careful not to do anything to yourself when Tren doubles your strength overnight smile.gif

If you can get your hands on some VIOXX< this is an anti inflamatory compuond that was taken off of hte market by MERK Corp.
I used it and to me it is a magic pill lol I stocked up so bad. I beleive there are some bros who may carry it, not too sure.

Some deca may also help your cause, 200mgs weekly will suffice.

EDIT: Chiropractice once a week also help me tremendously.

Lmao about Tren doubling my strength overnight!!! Thats what I'm looking forward to! Thats why I'm so pissed about getting hurt right after I ordered. I know I need to do these excersises you have listed, but I'm ready to do heavy militiary presses, bench presses, Squats, all that good stuff! I"m ready to turn into a silverback gorilla, But I cant right now.....

And about the exact injury, The doc gave me that celebrex, told me not to lift, and said to come back in a week. He said I have Interior, posterior cuff weakness. I would've rather had the cortisone shot and got it over with, but he said I could possibly make a minor problem major by covering up the pain! BS

Gotta wait man...If you dont you will be kicking yourself in the long run...give it 10-14 days or order some Alflutop because that shit is currently making me feel like superman. After not being able to squat for a year I am about 3 days to a week away from doing them I think.

So you know, this is NOT an uncommon issue amongst lifters. I have endured this situatiotn for around 8 years.
Operation is eminent, but will only provide 50/50 chance. 50% to leave me even worst than now. Time away from the gym is required, but not a must. I think you must work around it, it is your best bet.

I WOULD RECOMMEND A DIFFERENT APPROACH GIVEN I HAVE HAD BOTH SHOULDERS OPERATERATED ON. I WOULD TAKE SOME TIME OFF(2 WEEKS). DURING THIS "OFF" TIME I WOULD TAKE THE ANTI ANFLAMMITORY, ICE IT, TAKE YOUR JOINT SUPPS, AND DO VERY LIGHT SHOULDER WORK AT HOME STAYING UNDER YOUR PAIN POINT. LET THE PAIN BE THE INDICATOR NOT TO DO SOMETHING. AFTER THIS TWO WEEKS WORK YOUR WAY SLOWLY AND I MEAN SLOWLY BACK INTO THINGS. ONCE YOU FEEL 70-80% I WOULD THEN TRY SOME NPP ONLY. YOU ARE NOT LOOKING FOR STRENGTH BUT JOINT SUPPORT. MAYBE SOME ALFLUTOP. JUST TAKE CARE OF IT OR YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE PROBLEMS WITH IT. TRUST ME!!!!

What exactly are you saying is not uncommon? The interior cuff weakness is garbage because a doctor doesnt know shit about your shoulder without doing an MRI. Since we really dont have any insite to what exactly his injury is I think trying to work around it is probably the worst thing to do. Working through an injury during a cycle is pretty much a waist of gear since he wont be able to go all out since the injury will be in the back of his mind and might act up and get worse. Take the time off...it will probably help you in the long run and come back 110% ready to go.

Thats what sucks guys, I've already been out of the gym for weeks!! I think I'm just gonna do excersises that dont hurt. When it hurts, I'll stop. And, I"m gonna try to lift with strict form, do some rotator cuff exercises, and hope for the best. I"m not gonna start my gear though, it is a waste if you cant go all out! Thanks guys, if you have anything else to suggest, I'm all ears.

Do you have any idea what the problem really is? You could make the situation worse especially by adding gear. I just had my second shoulder surgery on Feb 3, the first was on 4/1/05 (torn labrum on both) ....shoulder problems are very common to weight trainers after years of lifting.

I have used the Cissus with good results on the pain as well as naproxen. Good luck, I hope it's only a mild tendon irratation, rest may be all that is needed. And yes, only an MRI will tell the real truth on what is the real problem with muscle, tendon and cartilige.

Shoulder and lower back are some of the most popuplar problems a regular lifter can encounter along his time lifting.
