i`m having problems with my knees on leg press, squats, basically anything heavy on my legs. I know the joints need to strenghten also but its not keeping pace with the muscles. What do i do? go lighter? i`m on cycle now and want to continue making gains. I have taken aflutop, just finished 3 weeks of it bout 2 weeks ago.

Have you tried wraps on your knees for additional support when you go heavy? I feel your pain though, when I'm on cycle my joints can't keep up with the weight I'm lifting. The biggest thing is be smart and listen to your body. If your knees can't handle the heavier weight don't push it or you could end up with an injury.

I say just go lighter and pull more reps on leg day. You really don’t need to go heavy to get bigger legs, essentially it comes down to pulling enough blood into the muscle and getting a nice pump.

bump what persianbolic said..

or do a small amount of heavy reps, 2 or 3, then do some lighter lunges for multiple reps. that will pump them up for sure.

i`m running 750mg test cyp/week, 100mg tren ace EOD, 400mg primo/week, in week 6 now. The aflutop helped while i was taking it but i ended 2 weeks into current cycle and the weight on the bar just keeps getting bigger. I do have a knee support but just for the left knee cause that one started hurting first. I do listen to the creaky knees, i skipped out on the last heavy leg press set yesterday. I`ll try that advice of 2-3 heavy then going for more of a pump with higher reps.

I agree with PERSIANBOLIC... Going so heavy that you risk a knee injuryis not necessary. I would go lighter and concentrate on th pump with volume sets....

I have this problem too and after research I found some volumization routines. Do 20 rep squats with as much weight as you can. It's O.K. to stop and take a lot of breaths towards the last few reps. This method will add size and over time you can gradually add weight to the rack. You can be flexible using this method and do maybe 15-16 reps to start and build it up. However, if you're powerlifting you will not get the strength from this method that you want.

go lighter and slow down. I warmup with at least 6-8 plates on each side, depending on how i feel, if i do a leg day with some explosion. But when I'm working on mass i go wide as hell and drop down in 8 sec and hold for 8 at the bottom, then back up in 8. I have had more growth with the TUT (Time Under Tension) workouts (get your legs looking like the steel cables that hold up the suspension bridges), and you dont have to load up so much weight that you kill your joints. No AAS on me, but my experience comes from bad joints from playing football.

bump that dude. that will definately help for now but you might want to look into taking glucosamine chondroitin MSM for a little while. i had a similar problem a couple of years back with my elbows, after about 2-3 months of MSM and going lighter the pain went away and i can now go as heavy as i want with no sign of joint pain.

A good warm up can help. Have a level three personal trainer watch what you're doing and see what their thoughts are...they are experienced in watching form and seeing if one muscle is getting ahead of another causing problems. I have a level three trainer that over the years has worked with me on and off. She watches others and points out mistakes....she tells me so and so is going to hurt his shoulder.....or someone else is going to have hip or knee problems because they are focusing on certain lifts. She's batting a thousand on her predictions so I listen when she talks. You spend soooo much money on supps and gear yet very little on an expert that can prevent injuries and you absolutely don't want an injury.
