ive been training "light" for 3 weeks now
in my benching, ive kept my reps at 20+ reps
ive hit 225 for 20 reps on 1st day back (after 7 weeks completly off)i was happy with that! didnt lose as much as i thought?
sat i hit 23 reps with 225

Today is 9 weeks post operation on my torn bicep, Dr told me to increase my training , very happy to hear that!!!!

i decided to try 315 today:
*315 for 3 sets of 6 I am thrilled wit this!!!!
4 Board close grips
*315 for 3 sets of 8
D-bell press
*100 x 18 reps flat
*100 x 15 reps on low incline
*100 x 12 reps on slightl;y higher incline

my plan is to stay with 315 on my work sets until i can hit 3 sets or 10
then i will increase the weights

overall, i did not lose as much as i thought i would with the surgery and 8 weeks of NO upper body training at all!!!
i am very excited about my training again?
I WILL bench 500+ again this winter!!!

Awesome brother. Glad to hear things are getting much better. That was a hell of a workout. Take it slow though and don't do anything dumb like me and hurt something else in the process of recovering. If I can stay healed myself we can have a little friendly race to 500 again. I've only hit 501 once during a meet and never in training, but I vow to again myself. Hopefully this winter as well.

Peace,
