Don't drain them yourself butcher.gif it can cause major infection if done improperly, just get it looked at help.gif ....damn alcoholic.gif

I had a friend who got a never ending puss from shaving his chest and he kept picking at it until he ended up in the emergency room, which almost ended his lifting career by them trying to remove his left breast (it was severly infected with green puss).... bad.gif

I had the same symptoms three times last year.
First time they said it was Staph, the other two they called it strep type B.
My son who is three had started getting them too.
We found out that his was Staphylococcus aureus. I have yet to have any symptoms since my last antibiotics.
My son is being treated for colonization. Make sure that they swab your nose as well. Dont let them tell you different.
It can get very serious fast.

I have had this before and now I have it again. I first had an abcess(also called a boil on the antibiotic pamphlet) back in february. It started out as a little white pimple on my thigh. I got it from shaving my legs. Well I popped the pimple and the next day it was red and swollen. I tried messing with it again to see if there was anymore stuff in it,like a pimple. By the end of the week it had gotten huge and swollen real bad and it was getting a black scab in the center where it was open. I could barely walk. Then I had noticed I was getting another one on the back of the same leg(left) and one on my right butt cheek. I went to the ER after about a week and a half because the pain was unbearable. They said I had gotten cellulitus,a bacterial infection. I had to have the one on my thigh lanced, which is the most painful thing I have ever experienced. The other two did not need to be drained and I was released from the ER the same night and put on antibiotics, clindamycin to be exact. Now I have another one on my left otter thigh area. I have been to the ER again and they tried aspirating it and nothing came out, because I caught it while it was still a huge hard bump. It was the same thing, a little pimple. The doc said that we all have bacteria on our bodies, even after we wash and by me poping this pimple allowed the bacteria to enter my body and cause this infection. I am once again on clindamycin and it seems to be healing and may not need to be drained, thank god. Now I dont want to be disgusting but I am having blood when I go to the bathroom. In the pamphlet that came with the antibiotics it says if you have blood in your stool it may be caused by a resistant bacteria and needs to be treated right away, this may be why I have had two cases of abcesses in a 2 month span. I am going to the doctors to be checked out. If anyone has this happening go to the doctors and get treated. Be safe everyone.

This may seem unrelated, but may in fact be something to think about a bit. What is your current water intake per day? Water plays a key role in flushing toxins from the body.
