This is fucking bullshit man! i've been dealing with the same crap for almost 5 years...nothing but pain

i can never get where i want to be because i can only give about 85% total effort without being injured..in fact, i still get injured apparently while fucking SLEEPING regardless of the effort i give...i'm fed up and pissed off

i have a damn checklist that i need to give a doctor, all the while i'll be given the same shit about taking it easy, or time off....guess what? 3 years ago i took 6 full months off and came back to the same crap

http://www.thevipboard.com/index.php?showtopic=19561

remember this? where the pain was behind my knee and felt kind of like my hamstring? well...it got better and today was the 2nd day of my new training program..it was leg day....

i put a measly 135lbs on the bar to get a warm up squat set of 20....2nd rep and down i go...my knee all but gave out...it was "squeaking" and very painful...same knee, too, right side...oh...but this time it was my KNEE CAP, directly behind the knee..felt like the patella was loose..a completely different pain

so i said FUCK THIS...i put on my knee wraps...same pain...i went to the leg extension machine just to see if i could do even LOWER weight for slow steady reps...nope...that fucked me up too

on top of that i couldnt do calf work because apparently my right tarsals (the "knuckles of my right foot) felt sprained

...next time someone says it's just pain and to push through it i'll rip their throat out with my bare hands...it's easy to say it's just pain, but i am completely unable to push through anything like this...

it's like i'm on the brink of injury every time i train, with every lift i do, thus the 85% thing...

what in the holy hell do i do???? i've almost given up training altogether because of the same old crap every year....i've taken glucosamine/MSM/chondroiton blah blah blah for months with no results...

have not tried aflutop...dont have the money for that right now...the only thing that has ever made me feel better was deca, period, the end

suggestions? prayers? dr recommendations? i honestly can see why fuckers get hooked on nubain now if they have to deal with this crap day in and day out

...and please...if you say something like "Welcome to bodybuilding" or something like that..i'll...i'll...i'll...i'll piss on your blue suede shoes! LOL tongue.gif

Guess 10iu/d of GH is out of the question... tongue.gif I feel for you. My knees have been proper f'd for a long time. Sounds like the rice krispies c I'd like to hit them with some GH and some of the local meds which are good for recovery there, but I haven't as of yet. There are lots of things you can do, but there are limits even if you don't have a budget - and if you do, those limits are a lot closer. Not sure what to say but make the best of what you've got, not as a cliche, but seriously. Getting pissed at the impossible is the mark of stupidity, "dogs bite the stones thrown at them" - think about it all, decide what's best, and roll full with that. That's all you can do, and if you do all you can, you better be somewhat happy with that.

word...that has been my mode of thought for the past few years...i get surpassed by a lot of my friends who dont have these problems

god...my knees are audible in a crowded room when i just normally squat and get back up...i've showed my friends and coworkers and they cringe at the sound

were you using cortisol shots? and GH in the knee?

i have bad ass insurance and am setting up an appt for this saturday with a sports medicine doc...think he'll get me a Rx of some goodies? lol

pretty much this was more to vent than anything... 10ius/d is looking like a real possibility this next month...

we finally have a bad ass MIT in our branch here that wont let deals fall through the cracks as they have been the last few months, which means BONUS TIME BABY! lookin at perhaps 5 figures in July's check...so...that means things will be a bit better

A regimen that includes IGF GH and A tops with all the sups would be expensive but more than likely helpful- along with the aforementioned deca or NPP.
Glucosamine, MSM, Chondroitin, Boswellia, Bromelain, Vit C, EPA/DHA (fish oils) will all help as well.
Also you must find he etiology of the problem-I havent heard you mention a traumatic injury- if you have I missed that in previous posts- but your knee makes me think imbalance between hamstring and quads- try to stretch the hammies and see is that hammy tight as hell compare to the other? It is contracting antagonisticly as you decend so the knee joint (like elbows) gets tension from BOTH sides- if the hams are super tight then the knee joint is pulled from the back side while the quads are in flexion- this is a lot of hydrostatic pressure to bear on the joint itself and this usually shows up as pain in the pattellar region above and below the knee cap-it is usually superficial in sensation.
Try a bit of aggressive stretching to see if you can re-attain some range of motion- this goes for both ham and quads.
Just some hypothetical suggestions but I think they could help.
Inujuries suck- but they are USUALLY imbalance issues more than any other.

you explained what i have almost to a T Ajdos...that was a perfect description of what is going on

there is no injury to speak of...well...i was in a bike wreck 4 years ago that messed me up pretty bad, but i never went to the hospital/Dr for it (long, sorta funny story)

my knees havent really been the same since, but they're definately worse these days (now that i added 60lbs to my frame)

where can i find examples of these aggressive stretches?

thanks for your help, that was dead on!

This is what you do.

Complete layoff. DON'T train. For ... 2 months. I know, I know.

Then, run this cycle:

Anavar, 80-200mg ED
Boldenone ideally base, transdermal, or of course EQ, 1,000mg/wk
Nandrolone PP, 600mg/wk
No testosterone at all

GH, up to 8iu ED.

Stay on this AT LEAST 8 weeks, and I mean 8 weeks of both the boldenone and nandrolone being active. So if you use EQ and Deca, then, stay on at LEAST 13 weeks.

Your training will be:

All slow-motion. 3 full seconds up, 3 full seconds down. No heavy weights, no jerking movements. Just slow and steady effort.

Aflutop, Adequan can of course be stacked with this for best results.

After that, gradually go back to doing what you do, except train smartly this time and BACK OFF when you get pain.

I know, this is not a fun cycle, or training for that matter, but it is your mobility we are saving here.

OMG you just made me cry on the inside Grunt...while i know you know what you are talking about for sure, i want to get 3rd opinion on that...

this of course would be what i would consider moderate-heavy healing..Ajdos' seems very conservative. and now i will set an appt with the doc to get a 3rd view on this

that is some awesome advice you have set there, Grunt, and i appreciate it...you KNEW that i would avoid that if i have to though, right? lol

Some really good advice above here. I will just add that cissus is another good joint supplement. I have gotten better relief from it than in other otc supplement I have tried. The sdvice to do a collogen synthisising aas cycle with otc suppletment, alflutop, and gh/igf will certain help if you are in need of any healing. However, I strongly recommend that you follow through with the sports doc and have an mri done to be certain that it is not a mechanical problem. Sounds to me that you injured it initially in the bike wreck and maybe due to imbalance in the ham/quad continued to worsen the problem. The only way to know for sur what the best solution is you will need to know what is going on exactly. Best of luck with this as I know joint pain sucks ass and keep us posted on what your are doing as well as how it is working out for you.

More good advice from some knowledgable bros-
Kosh- the site was ExRx.com I think I dont have the link anymore- but if you google it - it should com up-they have sections on kinesilogy and some of the preventative stretches and exercises to help.
