the day is so bad i seriously want to cry
If you remember i have a thread here regarding my leg..right leg to be exact...the pain was behind my right knee
today is leg day...my knee has been feeling pretty good for a couple days now so i suck it up and go to the gym
i loaded up the damn smyth machine with 135 again like i usually do to warm up
first set of 15 went well...down to parallel...so i walked around for a bit after the set for some active rest..and my actual kneecap had a slight painful twinge to it
so....i kept the weight the same...since i knew this was not the night to even attempt to go heavy....and went for another set..
on rep 2 i had the most incredible pain directly behind my kneecap...it actually made me yelp like a dog hit by a Vespa
needless to say i was pissed...so...i got over to the leg extension machine to try to do SOMETHING for god's sake...rep 1 and i like out a scream!
now...what sucks so bad is that under pressure my knee hurts like the dickens...but when i'm walking around its fine...WTF? so i just walk my pissed off ass out of the gym and here i am
what the HELL makes it so painful to do anything with my knees, yet i can walk around like nothing's wrong????
i cant wait to go to the Doc on the 3rd...if they have to scope that fucker than so be it...
i guess for the next year ill have chicken legs and a HUGE torso...guess that's the way it's meant to be...G-dammit

Man,all i can do is wish the best for ya.......If i had any clue about your knee i would galdly write it down for u.But something inside keeps telling me to lean towards it being a bad pull.U know a pull could last for weeks and even months........All i could tell ya is to keep trying bro.......I know what your saying to yourself:easy said then done. But,i ive had serious pain before in my right shoulder which lasted allmost a year then went away like nothing happened....So,i do understand how you feel somewhat....Just keep this thought in mind:dont fucking give up....Do what you can and consider it the best you can do for now....I Know that will help you out .

I had something similar a while back KF, I needed surgery. It wasn't so bad, I was up and going at 100% inside of 8 weeks.

Maybe all you have is a torn meniscus, that can be such a minor thing yet cause unbearable pain... Get it looked at, and then implement the plan I had outlined for you. Maybe do deadweight's thing first, then my healing protocol.
YOU *WILL* GET BACK TO 100%.

Hey bro...I had a similar situation. I started icing 3x per day and did no squats or ext. or leg curls. I started doing only lunges with dumbells...and my stride was kind of long..and at an angle outward...with my heels striking the ground and pushing the weight back up with my HEELS only. I also noticed that when I picked up weights and put them away...thats when I got a lot of pain.

Sounds like if there is pain behind the knee cap it is your ACL acting up on you. Good luck hope its not to serious.

Bro,
I have been there growing up in state where high school football is god. I had 2 knee surg on the same knee by my 20 birthday. It does sound like it is a possible tear. No more legs obviously untill you talk to the doc. arthroscopic is a failry easy sugery. I got a video of my last one. I watch it every now and then. Before you know it you will be back to lifting the dead cold hard iron we all love and respect.
God Bless
