Ok guys, I'll try to keep it short and sweet..

I've trained and cycled for almost 7 years now. fluctuated from 190-220lbs %10 bf on average..being off and on, trying different cycles and diets...iv'e waisted gear and had shitty ass diets just like probly everyone has...but now, i've had 3 months off totally and Im ready to start training for show status..I've been writing down every gram of protein, car, calorie, fat, sodium, etc and writing down every set in the gym..im doing cardio everyday and Im doing the things in the gym that I always steered away from..Im going to eat right and train hard and see where my body will take me by next summer and at the latetest summer of 09'..

I have one problem..from playing baseball my whole life and in college (catcher)..i have developed the right side of my body NOTICABLY more than my left...I have no idea what to do..the obvious thing would be to lift heavier on my left side but I was hoping for a little more knowledge than just that...if anyone would respond to this with their thoughts and post current or previous cycles that helped them,, i would be very happy to read them....whether its cycle plans, diets, workout routines...post em up, whatever you got and Id love to see them...

thanx for any help that you guys could give me and good luck to you all!

Thanx@!

My little bro always complains about this, but I can only tell a difference if I stare intently. Nobody is absolutely symmetrical. Have you gotten an outside opinion? It may all be in your head.

Dumbells instead of a barbell will help......with dbells each side has to do the equal work load.....

Two things you can do that may help. Like what was mentioned, work with DB and do single arm movements. Start with your weak side and end the set with your weak side, getting one extra rep. That will work best for things like biceps and triceps. Shoulders, back and chest it may be hart to do DB's one arm at a time with a lot of exersizes, so you can use some machines. Sit in the incline press machine sidewase and just press with one arm, then switch sides to hip the other arm.

The only thin you can do involving supplements, and this is still not proven is to use IGF in your weak side PWO. IGF is suppose to have site growth properties. I would use it for 4-5 weeks and then take 4-5 weeks off. Repeate for a good 6-8 months and you might start noticing a difference at the 6 month mark.

I am testing the IGF on mt weak bodypart, my legs. I am hitting quads 2x per week and hams 1 time per week hoping that by next summer I gain some ground in that area.

Hope this helps.

I have the same thing with my left side....so I do everything day,to day activities with that side. I have though about trying to train that side different when working out as well.....I think small adjustments will work.

Its funny how some of us think alike........I was right side dominate and started doing everything except brushing my teeth and wiping my ass with my left side.......I have to keep my mouth and ass clean.......this works.......I didnt mention it because I didn't want to get laughed at but it works......also functional training using balance products like a bosu ball or stability ball instead of a bench will work both sides evenly......stand on a bosu ball and curl dumbells and your nervous system makes the whole body fire up as one unit......not seperate......hope this helps a little

bro this is my exact problem too. I mean everything you said about trying to really nail down diet and cardio and lifting to the weaker left side. I still have the same problem, but I will tell you what I have been doing. I havent seen an obvious change yet, but it will take some time to happen. I have stuck to almost ONLY unilateral training. and after I am about done with all my unilateral sets, I do maybe one more set of each exercise ONLY with my left side. even if its very tired I lower the weight and rep it out. I may even start to do an extra 5 lbs on the left side I have been thinking recently. Say if I am doing DB press withg 70's, I will do a 65 DB in my right/stronger side, and do a 70lb on my left/weaker side. I havent started this yet, but will this week. I am also using IGF and MGF, so when i inject into muscles trained, I ONLY inject into left side muscles. If I do chest and bis, then i inject my left pec, and my left bis. you get the idea. also Daveshenchmans idea is a GREAT one IMO. I have tried to start using my left for more everyday stuff, but it takes constantly trying to remeber to do it and it is very hard becasue I naturally use my right. So you have to conatcntly rmind yourself, and its been hard for me to stick to it, but if you could it would be a great idea I am sure...

Add some unilateral training to your routines and keep hitting the bi-lateral hard...Things should balance out eventually

I find that going to failure on every set gets better results than trying to go heavy weight all the time. Useing dumbells instead of the bar is the way to go, I agree. The main thing is that you are consentrateing on the weakness, you will find a way to balance it out.

Good luck,

First of all, I wouldnt be too worried. Look at most pro's, there are always differences from side to side.

I would have someone take a look at you and maybe point out whether they see differences and where, then focus on those points. But honestly, its probably not as noticeable as you think.

And yes, dumbells will help!
