Good luck and God bless. My mother had part of her lung removed 3 yrs ago so I know what your going through.

wow thank you all for the overwhellming responses....she has quite smoking cold turkey but i believe its a little late for that....still not sure if it is cancer but she has been released from the hospital......whats really sad is that family that had hardly anything to do with her over the past few years is all of a sudden coming out of the woodworks trying to wate on her hand and foot i think theres alteriour motives there cause she has quite a bit of money....i even herd someone telling her that if she has mor than X amount of dollars in the bank then midicare wont cover te expense and "if you need any help hiding any money you can put it in my account".....that really got to me but as of now im biting my tounge and just praying for my grandma and watching that no one takes advantage of her kindness and trust

so the results are in....the tumor she has is cancerous they say she is too weak and frail for surgery....will speak to a cancer specialist tomorrow to see if radiation/kemo is an option
