I have been taking ALA to help detox the liver but was just told that could be causing the low blood sugar?

One word....juice...lots and lots of juice, OJ is the best for blood sugar, my Fiance has the same problem sometimes with the blood sugar dropping, and a glass of orange juice does the trick!

Yeah bro ALA has some pretty potent insulin-like properties, that are highly preferential to lean tissue. It's a great repartitioning agent which sends your food to your muscles but can easily induce low blood sugar.
ÀAlways take it with carbs.

I think you might want to try replacing one of the bananas with an apple or an orange, one banana a day is great, but two is going to get you constipated after a bit,
I know it sounds funny, lol, but that can sometimes happen due to their richness in pectin, which is water-absorbent and this gives them a bulk producing ability. But then again they also possess the ability to change the bacteria in the intestines-from the harmful type of to the beneficial type, but I would still prob stick to one a day if I was you,

ALA gives me low blood sugar big time. Bananas keep things moving quite well and I'm an old guy so that's important to me. Type banana laxative or banana constipation into a search engine and there is tons of info on their laxative effect. Bananas...good sh&t.

Yep this is also the reason why they help with cramps. The high amt of potassium is very beneficial.

carbs. protein wont help if you have low blood sugar. if its really bad and you need a quick fix then orange juice works the best. are you using igf or hgh now?
