Here are some examples of what Ive found to eat while Insulin is active in the body. This is not a standard plan for everyone, as people need different amounts of carbs for their individual needs. This is what I use when injecting 10iu PWO. Again the diet may vary upon stats, training, dosage ect:
For Guys that inject IM:
Immediatly after Injection: 60g Whey protein, 100g Dextrose/Waxy Maize Startch
30 minutes after PWO Shake: 8oz Fish 2 cups Brown Rice
45 minutes - 1 hour after last meal: 10 Egg Whites 1 cup Oatmeal
45 minutes - 1 hour after last meal: 8oz Chicken Breast 2 cups Brown Rice
For Guys that inject SubQ:
Immediatly after Injection: 60g Whey protein, 100g Dextrose/WMS
1 hour after PWO Shake: 8oz Fish 2 cups Brown Rice
1.5 hours after last meal: 10 Egg Whites 1 cup Oatmeal
1.5 hour after last meal: 8oz Chicken Breast 2 cups BR
1.5 hours after last meal: 8oz steak 2 cups sweet potatos
Some simple carbs to keep onhand if hypo sets in aswell. Quick sugar carbs are whats needed. I personally like jelly beans. 2g of sugar per bean. Rule of thumb is to take 10g of Dex/WMS per IU used. You can play around with it to see your rock bottom carb needs. I prefer IM injects as it hits much harder and I know when carbs are needed and when they arent. Its much easier to not gain fat when using IM, atleast in my experience.
