I promised my godsons the WII but since Christmas of 2007 I cant find a store that keeps them in stock long enough for me to get them the game. I feel bad trying to explain to a 5 and a 8 that for some reason I cant get them the game console because the stores NEVER have it
Any advise???

best buy -- had my wife ask a sales guy when the shipments arrive and she got there as they unpacked. 5 and 8 year old daughters -- had to deliver.

I've picked up a couple for some friends and had the best luck at Target. Check your mailbox for their weekly circular and if you see the Wii featured get to the store EARLY on Sunday morning.
Alternatively, get them a PS3, plenty of those around.

Hmm, I tried best buy, target etc but no luck. I will look into the sunday papers and see if I could get one for them. I tried craiglist and ebay but most are selling for over $400, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm dont think so!

Ebay...
Not good to buy any electronics on eBay! For one, any electronics bought and sold on there void manufactures warranty, no matter what the sellers tell you. I got burned like that with a radar detector. Thing worked for 2 months, I called BEL and they said nothing they could do for me.

I've purchased quite a few electronics and never had any probs off of Ebay. I also saw a wii that went for $230 CAN yesterday. I can understand the warranty issue though..

I forgot, I also bought a digi camera on ebay too. That also went to shit. And it was a canon.. Never again! Ill pay the extra 30-40 bucks at bestbuy or circuit city!
