Thank you, tb. The funeral is on Tuesday. I'm not sure I can deal with that ... I still remember the day I said goodbye to my mom, that was 3 years ago and I can't think about her without crying.

I hate funerals. If you are anything like me then you will go through the day like you are in shock and everything will be kind of a blur! I think the worst thing is seeing the hurst. Thats devastating to say the least! Vin......Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. I know you truely miss your mum and to lose your dad 3 years later must be extremely hard and hurtful! Be strong and call on your friends (yes internet ones too) as much as you need!

Thank you, AB. I must admit that today was really tough. I had been there three years ago when my mom passed away. Seeing the coffin there at the crematorium made it so real: I'll never see my dad again. I guess that I thought he would be here forever ... Now I'm all alone and I'm not sure I can cope with the situation.

This thread is already 3 pages long and I must say that I didn't imagine I had made so many friends at the board. I'll try and post more often from now on.

You're right, B2J. I'm surrounded by friends at the boards and I need that right now.

Today was a bit better than yesterday. I went to work as usual (most people take at least 4 days off from work when they lose a close family member but I realize that keeping busy is probably what I need the most ....). I spent most of the day outdoors. It keeps my mind off of things.

At night, I spend my time surfing the boards, chatting on yahoo and watching TV.

I'll be away next week but I'll log in every day to check my PM's and emails.

Sorry to hear the sad news V. I've wondered too how it will feel when my mom passes. My dad died a little over 9 years ago and I still miss him a lot.

Losing my mom was a terrible ordeal. I miss her. She was my best (and only) female friend. I shared a lot with her.
My dad had a very bad temper, he ordered me around as if I was still a kid and I couldn't stand it. He made me feel as if I was never good enough and it was really hard. Now that he isn't around anymore, I wonder if I have done enough for him .. and if I was a good daughter.
