I don't know, I just thought it looked very awkward and uncomfortable and was wondering if people actually do this? .....

So I saw a guy at the gym working out with literally, about 10 + shirts on, and a parka over top. Now I'm not sure what the general consensus is on this, but does it actually do anything? Perhaps sweating a little more to burn more fat? Can't see it being very effective, lol...

I used to see a guy in the gym wear a sweatshirt all the time. I thought that was extreme. I wear as little as possible in the gym. By the 3rd set I'm sweating and looking for a fan. I couldn't imagine wearing a sweatshirts and coats to the gym.

ACTUALLY ITS NOT THAT IT CAUSES ANY BODYFAT LOSS, AS THATS IMPOSSIBLE.
ITS SIMPLY CAUSES MORE BODYWATER LOSS.
THAT SAID, I AM GUILTY OF IT MYSELF, ITS MENTAL CARRY OVER FROM WHEN I USED TO WRESTLE I GUESS, AND IT WAS A WAY OF KEEPING EXCESS WATER LOW IN HIGH SCHOOL.
I LIKE TO DO IT NOW ESPECIALLY ON CHEST DAY OR CARDIO ANYTIME, I'LL OFTEN WEAR SEVERAL SHIRTS AND HELL EVEN 2PAIR OF PANTS SOMETIMES.
I LIKE TO SWEAT WHEN I DO MY CARDIO, THE CHEST THING IS MENTAL, I LIKE TO FEEL STUFFED INTO MY SHIRT, KEEPS ME TIGHT ON MY LIFTS.

With all them shirts on the dude has got to feel closed up.The things people do that try to lose weight...Personaly,i dont see how sweating will make a person lose weight.Maybe water weight but not fat weight. Then again i dont know ....Weight lost is not my cup of tea..dw

i always wear a thermal type long sleeve shirt, with a tshirt over it, and a beanie on my head. every day. i just like to be covered up. a coat, though, would be a bit much.
