I was sick last wk and missed about a wk and a half in the gym. What I did right: I didnt rush back to the gym and have a relapse. What I did wrong: I trained too hard and now My calves and whole upper body is killin me. It hurts to walk I blasted calves so bad!

I over did it for sure so Im gonna go light Squats and SLDL's today.

Sad thing is.....Ill prolly do it again in the future!lol

I dont blame you for wannting to make a soild mark back.Personally,i would have done the same....I dont fine anything postive getting back into the swing of things slowly...Forceing it allways feels postive.dw

I am just coming back from smoking my a/c joint when I was training heavy a couple months ago and just picked up a couple new training partners who are just killing me with all the sets and reps(they are bodybuilders and I am/was a powerlifer) so I have been limping around ohhing and ahhhing all over the place for the last couple weeks. I understand completely where you are coming from on this matter!! mellow.gif

Definitely I make the same mistake too...I have also just changed my training routine to high sets and intensity from a powerlifting routine. Had to take a week off due to exams and when I went back...I STILL CANT WALK right.

My friggin calves still hurt!!!!!!!! Man I blasted em. I used to slack on em but now I blast em every time I go to the gym.

Arnold used to roll up his sweats to show his lack of calf development so he would make it a point to blast em! I did this until I brought them up to par!
