So I was riding my bike (motorycle) and did something REALLY dumb, tongue.gif I got home, and was thinking about something or other, and didn't realize that the kick stand was NOT down, and I went to lean the bike on it and it obviously fell, but to save it from hitting the ground, I put ALL of it's weight and my own on my right leg, and I either pulled all of the muscles really badly, or jammed my hip joint and pulled the muscles.

I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to get this healed up quickly, I was thinking either keep it rested, or stretch it every day and keep walking on it, etc, as usual? Any advice is appreciated,

Thanks! smile.gif

Ice it for 48hrs and then heat after that. Try light stretching and see if there is discomfort. If alot of discomfort is present goto your doctor and get some imaging done to determine if something more serious happened. Hoping you a speedy recovery! biggrin.gif

I have much repect for u because most people would have layed down...Ive seen to many people call it quits due to injurys...I can understand if the injury was major but most the time people look for excuses to take time off....Ive trained with a fist full of injurys before and its never stoped me because in my mind i have no other choice.Keep that strong mental outlook Buff.....You are one soild person......dw

Thanks! I definitely agree when it comes to that, a lot of people do look for an excuse, and a lot of people out there have a "poor me" attitude. I think it's good to try not to let anything stop you unless it is serious and would physically prevent you from doing something, or would get worse if you kept on it. I'm stubborn. Plus, often things do get better when you keep your body going. Some don't of course but there are a lot do, I think it sort of forces your body to heal in a way.
