The expiration date on a steroid bottle is deff not like on a carton of milk.It is more of an assurance of quality than a point where the drug must be discarded for safty.After sitting on a shelf for many years the steroid in question may not have the same potency.By U.S.standards,a steroid will typically expire 3 years after manufacture.In Europe we usually see this time frame widen to 5 years.Obviously,the drugs are no difference,U.S.laws are simply stricter.For example if you have Primo and Sustance(both not made in the US)3 to 5 years past expiration ,they probably been sitting around for 8 to 10 years by now.Does this mean they are worthless?Far from it.I would guess if you had them analyzed their potencies would be fine.Will they make you sick?I tend to douth it.Rememeber with injectables though,you must must be extra carefull.If by any chance you had counterfeit filled with intert and less than sterile oil after sitting around for ten years it might not be clean anymore.......Imagain if you were talking about the use of a dirty 10 year old Fake Winstrol(water base) the results could be tragic........But provided the product is real Sustanon,pharmaceutically perpared (includeing an anti-microbial agent such as Benzyl Alcohol) you are probably safe at least from anything life threatening........But rememeber it is obviously your decision to risk it or not.

so what you are trying to say is it's ok to let it sit around for a few years past but use at your own risk if it's not pharm grade?

Of course...this hasn't been a worry as most of us use it well before expiration dates!

Concernig myself and the use of expired steroids,i wouldnt think twice about useing them considering its pharmaceutically made....But never the less,i dont want to give out flase information. Thats why i said use at own risk.But im certain 99 percent of legit steroids are good to go for many years after the expiration date...As far as letting steroids sit around for years.lol..im to greedy


i wantted to add...Im sure alot of UGL is good to go after expiration date but make sure it has been perpared with an anti micobial agent such as benzyl alcohol.

I'VE USED 6 YEAR OLD UPJOHNN CYP BEFORE AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM.

ALSO RAN SOME 4 YEAR OLD DROL AND SOME 4 YEAR OLD HALO.

As DW said gear is not like a carton of milk ... i wouldnt hesitate to use legit pharm grade gear well after the expiration date ... remember expiration dates are essentially used to comply with legislative and regulative requirements and aren't really a reflection of the shelf life of drugs

Good read DW.

Im using some just expired EQ...for the last 3 months and am very pleased. I believe like the article said it would have to be yrs expired before it was an issue.....
