Don't ask me what I have done but ... I can barely lift my right arm. It hurts from below my elbow up to the shoulder. Every pulling movement hurts like hell. I'm a tough cookie but I had almost tears in my eyes earlier at the gym (I did shoulders and back).
Anybody who knows what it could be and what I should do?
Your input is appreciated, gang!

Serious - you need a doc- without an X-ray i dont think ANYONE would be able to give you a precise diagnosis.
It could range from being a slight trauma to a serious tear. PLZ get it checked up right away. The elbow area is VERY important and prone to damage so take care of it.

I think it could be a pinched nerve. I'm gonna take a couple of anti-inflammatories and I hope that the pain will be gone by tomorrow.
If not, I'll see a doc.

Yes, I would probably do the pain killer thing, but tomorrow if I was you, may want to get it checked out, cause you really never know....
hope it gets better.

I would hit the NSAIDs like ibuprofen or naproxen. If you still are having pain after 2-3 days of that then I would see a ortho doc. I wouldn't waste my time on a general practioner.

Thanks, guys. I have no idea what ThinkBig was talking about
I ice my elbow three times a day, I'm taking an anti-inflammatory and a painkiller three times a day.
It sucks b/c I won't be able to lift until next week maybe longer.

Hey Bud
Stick with the IBU at 800 mg every 6 hours with food. Sounds like it could be either a rotator cuff strain or a tendon strain on the insertion of the lat. Regards, the anti-inflammatories should help. Watch your sleeping habits as well and try not to sleep on your stomach with your arm stretched out over your head. Try to keep it to your side as best as possible. If after 3-5 days it doesn't improve, you may need an MRI. But hold that card for now.
Email me directly if you have any other questions.

Hey OMB, I think you might be right ... I woke up with that pain last Monday ... which means that it wasn't caused by my last workout (on Friday).
I'm currently taking anti-inflammatories, the pain is still there whenever I twist my arm or try and lift something. I did bis and tris this morning but kept the weights far below my personal bests.
Thanks again, OMB.

Well if you get any numbness in ur hand get that MRI cause it could be a pinched nurve in your neck as well.

Now that you mention it, I have a burning sensation in my neck
I'll have an ultrasound to start with. I'll keep you posted!
