For some reason I have been having crazy dreams of my ex-fiance, its getting so bad that its interrupting my sleep and when I wake up I am so depressed and tired that Its effecting my daily activity. I really don’t know where this is coming from its not like I am thinking about her before I sleep. I mean I do miss her even after two years of separation, I still think about here and I haven’t forgotten the moments we had together, but man this has to stop. This morning I woke up and seriously hated the world. I also feel really hormonal but I am not on anything AS related. I know life is hard but even during sleep ahhhhhhhhhh.

Is anyone else having bad dreams like me? I read somewhere that eating right before bed can trigger bad dreams but I really don’t know about that.

Sorry to hear you're having restless nights. I'm not sure about the food contributing...there are a million theories out there. But something I do if I have a few bad nights in a row that might help...I write down all of the things stressing me out in my life. I write it out just before I turn out the lights. Not even necessarily a resolution to them but just venting. Although a lot of times I'll find a resolution as I write. It helps me to kind of get it off my chest a little and let my mind get some rest. It has really seemed to help. I used to have bad dreams all the time until I realized that my "morbid" dreams tend to be brought on from a lot of stress (i.e. work, relationships, etc).

YES.

I HAVE SPOKEN ABOUT IT BEFORE, I STILL HAVE DREAMS ABOUT MY EX JUST LIKE THAT AND ITS BEEN A LONG WHILE.

I DON'T THINK ABOUT HER AND TRY NOT TO, BUT YET I WILL HAVE A DREAM ABOUT HER ATLEAST 2-3 TIMES A WEEK, FOR WEEKS ON END.

I'LL MISS A FEW WEEKS AND THEN ITS BACK TO DREAMING ABOUT HER AGAIN.

USUALLY THE BAD SHIT TOO, LIKE I SEEM TO DREAM ABOUT SOMETHING THAT I THOUGHT WAS GOOD AT FIRST, THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN "BOOM" THE DREAM TAKES A TURN FOR THE WORSE AND ITS LIKE YOU NAME IT, I'LL CATCH HER CHEATING, DOING SOMETHING SHE TOLD ME SHE DIDN'T DO, ETC. ...ANYTHING THAT GIVES YOU THAT "KNOT" IN YOUR STOMACH, I SEEM TO DREAM ABOUT IN RELATION TO HER.

I DUNNO WHAT WILL HELP IT BRO, I HAVE SPOKEN TO MANY PEOPLE ABOUT IT AND NOTHING HAS WORKED THUS FAR FOR ME, TALKING ABOUT IT, ACCEPTING IT, BLOCKING IT, HELL EVEN OTHER RELATIONSHIPS DON'T SEEM TO MAKE IT GO AWAY.

I HAVE GIVEN UP AND FIGURE SHE JUST MINDFUCKED ME TO A POINT WHERE I HAVE TO LIVE IT, IT TAKES SOME GETTING USED TO, BUT I'VE BEEN HAVING THESE FOR ATLEAST 3 YEARS NOW.

Ouch really sorry to hear that. I used to get bad anxiety and such. The trick is to harness your mind into something else right before you go to sleep. I used to have to watch a movie or something until I fell asleep just to get my mind off of things...

I think the following are the BEST they are wonderful and work wonders, they cured me to the point of being able to fall asleep without them, with nothing, and peacefull....they are called "meditainment cd's"

This one is the best for sleep, you can buy it at your local book store, or on line...

Hope your dreams clear up!

I go from no nightmares to an onslaught. I had em all night last night but I was super stressed.

Sucks because they seem so damn real!

I HATE the real ones! But then again, there's nothing like the feeling of relief when you wake up and realize that they weren't real.

I know exactly what you mean Persian. I have the same exact problem and my dreams are about my ex-fiancee also. My dreams are often vivid and violent and very disturbing. So disturbing that i often wake up at 3am and cant go back to bed at all. They have caused me to be very depressed as well. My doc put me on sleeping pills and ant-depressants. The dreams arent totally gone but are somewhat surpressed.

Good luck bro, I know the nightmare your going through.......no fun at all.

OK I had it as well. Had long term ex have a kid with someone else and name it he name we talked about. SHE kept rubbing it in. She kept pulling the I love you card.

So What I did was change numbers and move on to something else. It never goes away but I just look at it as what goes around comes around.
