This thread is pretty much just a vent, also wondering if anyone else has encountered anything like this?

So today I have to go for an ultrasound for a mystery bloat that no one can figure out. I'm damn sure I have a flat mid section, however, I have a mystery bloat just under my belly button that has appeared in the last few months from who knows where, and have to have it figured out, (no, not pregnant...) and I have already done a colon cleansing so that's not the issue either, lol...

ANYWAYS.....my issue is that my ultrasound isn't until 11:00am today, pretty much lunch time...and I am not allowed to eat ANYTHING, not even allowed to chew any gum, from Midnight last night until after the ultrasound today....helllllooooooooooooooooooo starvation mode!!! ohmy.gif

I am not a diabetic, but how can they possibly do this if someone was?!?!?!

~grumpy~ dry.gif lol....

I THINK YOU NEED FURTHER EXAMINATON.

BEST NOT TO RELY ON SILLY TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS TO MODERN MEDICINE, BEST TO LET SOMEONE USE THEIR HANDS TO FEEL AROUND AND SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM MAY BE.

COULD REQUIRE SEVERAL FOLLOW UP TREATMENTS AS WELL.

BTW, I MAY BE ABLE TO SQUEEZE YOU IN THE DAY PLANNER, LMK. wink.gif.

lol.

LET US KNOW HOW IT GOES.

Didn't you once post that ur taking a-var?

Depending on the dose mos women retain water with A-var and lose it once they discontinue it. (of-course womens bodies are more androgen sensative than mens) Not saying this is the problem but somthin to consider.

As for the diabetics, Most of the time they will tell them to not take their morning insulin meds or they may let them have clear liquids. Most of the time they will put the diabetics as the first test of the day where they do not have to go with out food for long periods of time.

Yes! I never considered that, thank you for the suggestion! I'm not sure if that's the cause as my other cycles didn't do that to me, also, the bloat I know is under the muscle.....weird...

Thank goodness! I noticed on my form while I was waiting that it said "please notify the clinic immediately if you are a diabetic"

so phew to that tongue.gif

They had to also do blood tests and a urine sample to see what's up, so I hear back this Friday *fingers crossed*

Best wishes hun. I wish I could help more but Im just not sure what it could be.

In my thoughts......Im sure its something minor.

I know a gal that was using Test Prop and Anavar and had some slight weight gain in her midsection AFTER the cycle though.....

BTW...Hope you got a good meal after the ultrasound!!!! smile.gif

Well not sure how much anavar you took in the past so consider the body can act completely different with a few more mg of a-var ,
I've seen some say there good at 10mg but 15mg sides start up instantly. You can cary a lota water retention in the intestines (stomach)from androgens .

If everything comes back normal and I hope it does try a naty diuretic for a few days like traxatone.
This one is actualy quite good for a over the counter sup.

peace.

Thanks Gator!

I ate unfortunately normally after the ultrasound sad.gif LOL...trying really hard to lean down now, and it's working! Plus my cycle has ended and I think I was carrying a shit-load of water, because I've lost about 5lbs in roughly a week, bloat is still there though, lol.....

Thanks again! biggrin.gif

Is it just in one particular area or is it your entire lower midsection? It is possible that you have small hernia. Does it feel different when you push on it? Like there is something under the skin or any pain in that area.

Funny that you mention that. I was thinking it could be a hernia, however, there is no pain, I'll get little stabs every now and again, but nothing bad. It's just below my belly button and all the way across my midsection pretty much, it's like a pouch...it's weird, and I can not wait until Friday to find out!

I definitely know that it's under the muscle though, so who knows...
