My husband is a youth counselor, my advice to you is before you council teens\young adults make sure your life is 100%. You can't help others when your own life is a mess or has issues.

I couldn't agree more, Ms W.
Gator really wants that job and I'm sure he's ready to do whatever it takes to get it.

i worked as a juvenile councelor for almost 12 years for a neighboring county(bachelor's required to work with juvies-required there??)and most parts were quite rewarding. the politics of governments ruin everything eventually, hopefully the place you seek is a non-profit that can call its own shots-good luck brotherman!!

What you put in is what you get out. No test can tell anyone how much you want to help these kids. Keep your head up. Go make a difference one kid at time.

Good Luck bro
