Help me get ready for my first cycle.

Right now I'm at 15-18% bodyfat and it's all in my stomach. I want to start my 10 week test only cycle in may. Should I worry about my bodyfat before I do a cycle, or can I keep bulking right up till I start? If I should loose my bodyfat, what % do you think I should get to before I start my cycle?

what is your goal with your training right now & over the next yr?

do you have your diet in check as far as the right amount of calories and the right types of food and enough protein intake for your goals? regardless of your goals diet is very important. same with enough rest.

one pretty much either burns fat or builds muscle & then accliments the diet, training and also cycle around those goals when possible.

if you have a limited time of a few yrs or less training then overall its good to work on a building a foundation for a while then later shave it down (if you're bodybuilding).

Right now my goal is to bulk up and put some muscle on. My diet is in check. I'm getting 250-300 grams of protein and carbs right now, which adds up to 3300 caloroes or so a day. I'm getting 1 1/2-2 grams of protein per body weight. I've been training for many years, but in the last 2 years, I've really got my diet in check and have made good gains.

your receptors are going to be the most receptive the first go round and your body will recover the easiest too. I would make it worth your while and stack something with it like EQ or tren if you want to lean out...You wont need large doseages anyways. Something simple like Test/Eq 500mg/300mg is a good start. Your body fat and gear choice is not neary as crucial as your diet. you can lean out on damn near anything and every AAS is going to make you bigger, especialy the first time out of the box. If you want muscle you need to eat and if your goal is to bulk then just eat more calories but make them clean and lift heavy and hard. Good luck bro

For a first cycle I'm kinda hesitent to use more then one compound since I have no clue how my body will react. So you think I can still lean out some with a test only cycle?

My thoughts:

1. Yes, you should be aware of your BF% before starting a cycle (and all the time).
2. I think you should get under 15% before you start especially if you have trouble losing weight (like me!).
3. I don't believe in bulking at all costs unless you have a very hard time putting on weight.
4. I don't think there's much point in adding muscle if you can't see it.
5. I'll say it - your diet is probably not in check. Most people understate their BF%.
6. Yes, a 10 week Test E or C only cycle will be sufficient at 400-500mg/wk. I don't think you need to add anything else in.
7. Eat right, sleep, train hard and you will grow.

After looking in the mirror and measureing my stomach tonight, I'm going to start dieting. My question is, should I drop the carbs all together or should I start to taper off my carbs.

I have clenbuteral and clomid for my pct.

Here's my diet.


8am. 4 eggs 320 cal. 28.5g protein
1 piece toast 313 cal 12.9g protein 55g C

10:30 am Myoplex bar 330 cal 30.0g protein 35g C

12:30pm Chicken breast 220 cal. 38g protein 28g C
1 cup of Rice 104 cal. 2g protein 22g C

3:00 pm Hamburger 400 cal 40g protein
1 cup of rice 104 cal 4g protein 22g C

6:00pm Steak 394 cal. 65g protein
Veggies

9pm 6 oz chicken or 1 tbsp of peanut butter.
11:00pm Myoplex bar 330 cal 30g protein 35g C

12:30pm Chicken breast 220 cal. 38g protein 28g C <Where are these carbs coming from?
1 cup of Rice 104 cal. 2g protein 22g C <This is brown rice?

3:00 pm Hamburger 400 cal 40g protein <Is this 95% lean? What fat?
1 cup of rice 104 cal 4g protein 22g C

6:00pm Steak 394 cal. 65g protein
Veggies

11:00pm Myoplex bar 330 cal 30g protein 35g C <This is the last thing you want at that time.

These are your ttals as you have layed them out..

197g carbs
315g protein


I am thinking about 40g fats and not even half are good fats..

so your at about 2400 calories for the day. Your number there is right. Actually right on. 14calories per pound is a good starting number to lose weight.

Your macros are out of whack though.. Depending on your stance on carbs and fat.

Alot of the carbs you listed are simple. swap them out for complex and your better off. Oats, yams, Cream of wheat.

Your fats should be Monounsaturated. Natty PB, Avacados, EVOO and fish oil.. Things like that.

IMO ditch the myoplex bars. Good bedtime food is Low fat cottage cheese or Casien protein. tbsp of Natty PB..

Add in greens where you can and more often than one meal. Your body burns more calories to digest celery than celery has so it is a negative calorie food. I may have posted a Macro list here, not sure. I'll look if not I'll post it..

Do you think a protein shake would be better then the myplex bars? I'm in school at 10:30 and can't eat chicken or other whole foods.
