I have gyno due to poor planning when I was younger, I am now 37 6'5 275lbs, I try and eat clean, lift, cardio (although probably not as much as I should) and yet I am still stuck with my man boobs, would taking novladex, etc off cycle help? mellow.gif

Thanks

Yeah maybe I will do that, thanks although I have checked other boards and I am pretty sure I am going to end up doing surgery but will try Nolva in the meantime to see how that helps, going to really cut back on cheating as well...already down from 287 to 265, really lean....except for my boobs.....

I just got blood work done and everything checked out ok, my levels where.

Bro i would try arimidex or letrozole to knock out the gyno. A friend had gyno and his doc prescribed him some a-dex and it really helped him out.

I would personally use adex because of letros not so nice estrogen rebound effects and its infamous killing of the sex drive. smile.gif

I would suggest nolvadex to clean out the estrogen ASAP and adex as well.

You could try Nolva but I think your gonna need surgery, especially if you left it untreated for long time. But i wouldnt worry its a small surgery.

Thanks all, I am going to give this a go and start looking into surgery if necessary.
How should I run it though, in your opinions?

40mg/day for 2 weeks
20mg/day for 2 weeks
10mg/day for as long as it takes...it has been shown to be safe in LONG clinical trials at this dose...like 9 months and reduced tumors in something like 90% of people

Most likely your bodyfat levels are too high... those who develop gyno rarely ever get "man boobs".

Try lowering your bodyfat %.

persianbolic is right, its real minor surgery... mate of mine had his done a couple of years back was in hospital for like a day...it was nothing really... so dont stress too much at the thought of surgery... but you could try nolva and arimidex together for maybe 3 months and see if there's any response as a last ditch effort before surgery... like 40mg nolva ED + 1mg arimidex ED... but to be honest bro the SERMs and AI's aren't really effective for fatty tissue gynecomastia, which is what u've got... they're only really useful (and only moderately effective at that) for lump gynecomastia

good luck bro

You are right because I can feel the muscle underneath the fat, just hate that it pokes out, are there any exercise ya'll recommend to target the outer pec? I know I have tried a ton but maybe someone has some new ideas.

Thanks

I think I am built a bit like you Warren... I was sure I had a bad case of gyno until I cut down to 6% bodyfat, then my "boobs" started melting and around 5% bf they were completely gone.

Of course I eventually lost my way and found myself back at 12%+ bodyfat and the "manboobs" are back, except now I don't fret it, I know it's just that I hold more bodyfat there than other places and it will all disappear when I get lean again.

Gyno surgery can be a minor surgery, BUT make sure (and this is from experience) MAKE SURE YOUR PLASTIC SURGEON IS EXPERIENCED WITH THIS PROCEDURE AND MAKE SURE YOU DON'T JUST GO WITH THE CHEAPEST DOCTOR)!!!

I had THREE gyno surgeries and I tell you this was a very painful lesson to go throughl!! The first two surgeries were performed by the same doctor and the third/last one was done by a true artist/plastic surgeon extrodinaire!!!!

If you get the right doctor who is experience with BB'ers then you have absolutely nothing to worry about as you will be back to your old self in a month or maybe even less!!
