Benefits of keeping your doctor informed of your AAS intake.

1. Monitoring of vitals
2. General Advise
3. If your lucky, testing of certain products for you
4. Questions answered.
5. Therapeutic intake VERSES athlete intake (which in most cases it's 100 times more than the norm)
6. Early intervention of side effects
7. Risk\Benefit ratio

What are some other benefits?

Not sure of other benefits but it is DEFINITELY a good thing to be honest with your doctor about this.

This here is a touchy subject as with a lot of doctors, when something goes awry, they will most often blame it on the AAS, rather than the root of the actual problem at hand, so if you can, start with the problem, the issues at hand before mentioning the AAS.

I just changed docs through all my back issues. Started seeing a doc that I went to school with. Cool dude. When I went in for back first thing he told me after telling me about back and all was that he understands the what I go through to look like I do, he understands very few poeple make it there without "help", and for me to be straight up with him off the start so he can help out with any problems that arise. I think that you need to be honest with your doc if he is gonna help you properly. Doc having improper info will lead to him trying to treat you for something that is all in all caused by AAS but he thinks you have other problems. Not good.

You should always be honest with your doctor. Worse case, all you do is get a new doctor!

Well if ur in a small community that would be a bit stupid imo.
regular check-ups on BP , blood work for kidneys, liver and heart check . (that's about all they need to know)

with all the bull put out by the government they will see it as the unforgiveable sin.

An Doc that has experience with HRT? maybe.

Your doc ever says why is your BP a bit high or why is protein and creatinine way out there than blame it on a pro-sup sold at GNC but keep your Mouth shut!!!

A-Rod is not the only one. lol. more to come soon. Damn it people leave these guys alone. They all took short cuts at one point or another. in the passed the guys used corked bats and did massive amounts of coke to focus. now and days guys use AAS. Why arent the guys from the pass being taken out of the record books????

This is a double edge sword, "IF" you inform your Doctor and he is inclined to do so he can inform your insurance company of your illegal use of AAS and then you'll have no insurance.

That is not a risk I would be willing to take.

Damn good point...

But then he would be able to charge you as much so in the end he would be screwing himself too.
