Matthew 5: 25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge; and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and then thou be cast into prison.

Imagine, if you will, playing a game of football with our heavenly Father. He offers you the option of playing with His team or against His team. The only thing you have to do to get on the LORD’s team is to forgive your brother. If you hold unforgiveness in your heart, the LORD becomes an adversary. In other words, you are on the wrong side of the Word!

According to today’s scripture, the smartest thing to do is to hold no unforgiveness against your brother. That means as soon as you feel that small twinge of anger, lift the Name of the Lord over it and ask the Father to help you to keep your heart and mind clear. That will keep you on the right side of the Word. You will know He answered when you line up for this game called life. You will feel His Holy Presence beside you. Stay on the right side of the Word - forgive.

God Bless
