Anybody ever had such a run of crappy luck that they just bailed on their cycle like I am now?

... been on for like 6 weeks... during that time have come down with the flu - put me down for like 5 days lost maybe 4lbs... got nasty bronchitis couple of weeks after flu... had pretty bad tendonitis in both my elbows that prevented me from doing any heavy pressing for like almost 3 weeks til they pulled up good... and also sublaxated my left shoulder while boxing maybe a week ago...

WHAT A TRAIN WRECK!... i've gotten almost nowhere in those 6 weeks.... just feels like every time i get some momentum i either get sick or something fucks up that stops me from lifting properly... so i'm done with it for now just slamming nolva for a couple weeks... guess its not as bad as stopping cos of rampant gyno, acne, impotetence etc...

i swear though everything was going sweet til i decided to get on it and then my luck just went to shit

Sounds like your due for some better luck soon. Keep your head up. In the bigger picture it could be worse. Take it one day at a time. Let your body recover.

I have been there too bro... Got a flu for a few days after being on cycle for 3 weeks, recovered and then got strep throat and lost about 5 pounds in 3 days... Stopped my cycle and by then I was in it for a good 4.5 weeks... Sucks so bad...

Im feelin your pain brotha.. And weight lifting is a healthy sport.........when done in moderation and not to the extreme. I think at 1 time or another, we all have forgotten that we too are mortal....our bodies need to rest even if we feel like we're ready to go. Doing a cycle may make us feel stronger, but we are not. Our tendons and ligaments are strained to the max and we keep pushing even harder because of the "andro" effect.

I think if we could all be a little more patient, we would not hurt ourselves as much as we do. After 10 days into a cycle of Dbol a few years back, my bench went up 30 pounds on my max over night....I was in disbelief!! 25 days into the cycle I decided to go for another 20 pounds on top of the 30 making a total of 50 extra pounds on my max in 25 days.....and yes, I did it....holy shit! Not only did I do it, but I also fucked up my shoulder real bad. I was out of the gym for 3 months letting my shoulder heal....and yes I lost everything. Lets just say I dont do stupid shit anymore and lm very happy where I am at today...

As far as getting sick, well....our sources need to be a little more sterile.....ok.....much more sterile and we should be good to go with that.

I can relate to fast strength gains...Its been a long time that i have had fast gains considering i stay juiced up year round. So gains are slow right now...I pretty much stay around the same weight ....And if i decide to shock a muscle group i might add some more reps to the mix or try a diff exercize.I remember back in 86 i had a serious shoulder injury..I couldnt flat bench for 2 years after that...It boiled down to stop lifting when it happened...My dum ass didnt...I kept on and on i felt my shoulder rip but finished the workout....Back then no way shape or form was i going to miss a workout or drop a workout short....So i lived with this shoulder injury till it healed...I still worlout with it but simply worked around the injury...Next time i feel anything not right i will stop...dw

I think we all learned that lesson 1 time or another. I've learned to restrict how much weight I use even if the weight lm using seems too easy. I like to wait a few weeks staying at my normal weight, and only then bring it up a notch. I never do 1 or 2 rep sets just to see how much weight I can throw around. I'll do my max set at 5 or 6 reps, but that's after 8 sets of benching 10 - 12 reps. If I put up 6 with ease, than I'll add a little weight. My shoulder hasn't been acting up in months so it seems to working well.

i've been down this ugly river before....i've torn my pec twice, torn my tricep - borderline needed surgery, torn my ham twice, rolled my ankle god knows how many times....sh-t happens on cycle man, nothing you can do about it but run a modified PCT, get healthy, and get back after it..
