Guys, a buddy of mine is going on probation soon and is in the middle of the cycle. Do any steroids show up on a standard probation drug screen? Has anyone been on cycle while on probation? any issues? Thanks for your responses.....

there may not be any point worrying about it... most esterified injectibles will show up on a drug test for some months after they are discontinued... depends to a large extent on how soon he's going to be tested...
although i can't personally comment on whether corrections will in fact be looking for AAS... i'm sure someone else here will be able to comment on that

I think that they wouldnt test for it unless you were put on probation for it.

Yeah....true about the esterfied injectables.....they will show up for months after stoppage. He got a DUI so its completely unrelated to BBing. Thanks for your responses

It's my understanding the typical probation test does NOT test for steroids. Although they are in their right to test for AAS if they choose to. I have never actually been drug tested on probation while AAS so I couldn't tell you for sure. I have heard many bros say that they have passed the standard test given to them for probation while on AAS. I personally wouldn't chance it given the fact if your PO is a dick and thinks your juicing he/she could give you one just to try and send you away. Been to jail before, I wouldn't chance it.

the other thing that occured to me is that your friend most likely has a right to know what the drug test involves... it comes down to a right to know the nature of the testing you are being subjected to... you may have to subject yourself to the conditions but you at least have a right to know what they involve... in australia it comes about from an administrative law rule called "procedural fairness" but i'm confident there'd be a similar basis in US law... he should write a letter and ask them

if the testing regimen is under a court order then they wouldn't be able to broaden it just like that... depends how it works over in the states you'd have to think about it first before you make any enquiries...

yep what pretty much everyone has said so far, since they don't test for it there is no need to worry...unless he does something that draws attention to the fact.

Most use a simple 5 panel drug screen, I would tell your friend not to even worry about it. Steroid tests arent actually cheap anyways.

depends on what he is on probation for. It is also the right of the PO to test for whatever he wants if he has reason to believe your friend is using.
