Alright, I am almost done with my 3rd cycle and have put on quite a few extra pounds, muscle and fat from eating heavy. What I want to do now is cut and get more definition. Any suggestions? I have never really cut before, but would like to lose the fat I gained. I have gained a bit around the mid section and would like to get more definition around the abs.

Advice!!

Was your 3rd cycle based around heavily aromatisable compounds without much in the way of AI? Because if that is the case you have a good chance of dropping much of the water and fat when you come off the course in combination with strict diet and hard training...

If that wasn't the case, IE if high amounts of circulating estrogen wasn't a factor then please lay out what you did for your 3rd cycle...

My best advice would be to post up your exact cycle and your diet while on your last cycle. Give us a base to start with so we can see what areas need to be addressed. How was your diet? First and foremost above all else before even deciding on doing a cutting cycle is to make sure you have a clean, healthy diet before you start your cycle. No matter what compound you use, it will all be for not if you have a lousy diet.

Sorry, guys should of done that from the start.

Cycle: 500mg of Test Enan /wk 12 weeks 400mg/Deca for 8 weeks

As for diet, I basically ate any and everything, within reason, plus whey protein shakes 2/3 times a day.

Another note: I am 6'4 and I am up to 218 or so. I started out at 196, as I lose a bit of weight in the summer as I am an outdoor guide.

What I am figuring is doing more cardio and re-structuring my diet for my 2-month off cycle.

In your previous post you stated "3rd cycle was 400/mg deca 10wk, 500/mg Test ENAN for 12 weeks." Did you run the Deca 8 or 10 weeks?

You are on the right track by restructuring your diet. Add Cardio into your regimen if you do not already do so, as well since you will be outdoors in the summer have you thought about adding a good X-Training routine, Plyometrics, explosive movements etc.. These will help you along the way to achieve lean muscle mass, as long as your diet is on point.

Gymfreak, very much appreciate your time and posting.

Do you think I should cut back a bit on my heavy dumbbell routines and focus more on X-training for those two months off cycle? Or should I keep my same on cycle heavy lifting routine and simply add the x-training?

As far as diet, I have a very fast metabolism, I more than likely just need to concentrate on lean proteins, cut back on bad fats, and stick with getting proper carbs, correct?

I don't have much fat anywhere, except around my mid-section, this is the first time in my life where I have a semi-gut, not bad by any means, but it obscures my ab definition.

If you have a fast metabolism you should be able to see great results from a good X-Training and cardio routine. as far as the weights go, you can focus on using lighter weight for more repetitions and totally blast your muscles. Shock them into something new. I like to swith my routine up every few months or so to keep my muscles guessing. I feel I hit a plateau if I stick with the same routine for to long.

Your body should be primed for a new workout regimen and this could be exactly what you need to cut fat and still gain lean muscle mass.

Good Luck.
