I figured more of brethren would read this section so I put this question here:

Next month I will be going in for a vasectomy which is something that I thought I would never do, yet I'm doing it!!! I wanted to ask my doctor the question about gear before doing surgery, but he is one of those "Drugs are bad O'kay", so I'll ask the brethren here if they know of anyone or even themselves if they had to stop gear usage before vasectomy surgery? I know that gear can delay clotting times, I just don't know if this would be a significant amount or not...........I just don't want to be bleeding like a stuck pig from my juevos either!!! blink.gif

Anybody go through this or have any suggestions or even some good post-surgery tips that they can pass my way I would greatly appreciate it!! Ohh and let's say I have the all meat-no potatoes look (testes are "riding high") should I use some HCG before the surgery to have them..........riding low like '64 Chevy wub.gif ? Any comments welcome!! wink.gif

No advise here but I wish you the best. Are they using a "No Scalpel" method? This seems to be gaining popularity because it's less pain from what I've read.

Thank you Ceejay! I don't think the doc is using the "NS" method as it's Kaiser P (HMO) and are cheapskates, so I'm pretty sure they are cutting, tying, soldering the ends to make sure I get 0 little snachies going through the pipes!!

Please remember either method will require 15 to 20 ejaculations to clear all of whats left in the tube!

Hey bro

I really think you should tell the doctors what you're on before the operation. You never know man. The thing I worry about the most is general anasthetic. I mean I don't see how AAS would effect GA but that's serious shit when you're knocked out on GA and if something messes with what they've given you even just a tiny bit... Talk to your doc

i dont think you will have any problems. i had one 17 yrs ago and he was done in about 15 minutes. there is very little bleeding. it is a simple procedure. then you just go home lay down with your feet elevated and put a ice pack on it. i was back lifting 2 days. no big deal.

its nothing my doctor and i talking about old time gun fighting during my complete surgery. I went under the knife and it only took 30 minutes. I think every nurse in the hospital came throught the door to look at my junk during surgery. I was on gear at the time and didnt say anything to him about it. The needle in each nut isnt fun but the rest of it was nothing. Just do what th dr. says go home and put ice on your nutts for two days and dont do NOTHING for a week. You'll feel like your fine the next day. i remember when my dad went through it and he didnt listen to the dr. and went out on the farm and started working on the tractor 2 days after, really f'd him up. He had to wear a gurdle for 2 months. you'll be sore for about 3 weeks but you'll be good to move around in 3 days. just stay out of the gym for 2 weeks
