Yeah,,,a lot of the beaches depend upon tourism to survive and now a shit ton of people are canceling their trips because of this..Not good at all.....I know we have had a cancellation this week and not to mention what impact it will have on the ecosystems and fishing industry....We just got snapper opened but now it looks shitty again...

BP promised to pay 84 million through the month of June to compensate for lost wages and profits caused by the spill. these cheap fucks need to dig deeper and realize what damage that they have caused and then come back to the table with a real number. my 2 cents

I dont want to sound like a tree hugging hippie here,,,but there has got to be a better way to ensure this wont happen again in deep water drilling operations....Also, I do hope that they impose unrealistic legislation on all other offshore drilling operations..

My wife is visiting the Gulf & she said the globs of oil have been there since last Friday. The smell of gas/oil is also getting worse by the day. The people BP hired to clean the beach look like rent-a-laborers... definitely not experts in the field of chemical waste management.
