Some very nice bucks you've killed! I too am an avid hunter. Can't wait for bow season to start. Got my 3d targets set up in my back yard and practice by shooting from the top of my elevated deck. Not sure what my neighbors think, but none have complained so far. Actually, I think they're all kind of scared of me.

lol.. i hear ya.. october cant get here fast enough bro.. o and i got a ladder stand hooked to my old house attn in the back yard and shoot from that..lol.. my neighbors think i am nuts...

Not much on Bow hunting, but I do like to hunt on occasion..My wifes family has a shit ton of hunting land and I go a few times out of the year..

rite on PH.. i will take a doe to eat over a buck any day.. i usually give them away if i can... but at the time some burger sounded great..

i hear ya on that... i had one born rite during the rut 4 years ago and another born in Sept.... i didnt get out that much... and congrats on the new born bro..

Yeah, does definitely taste better! Early season bucks are ok as long as you gut them out and get them in a cooler quickly. But that holds true for does as well. BTW, I'm in the south so it is still pretty warm in September early October during the bow season. As far as eating bucks killed during or around the rut, hell no! I give that meat to my wife's family. biggrin.gif

lol AB!! ya it stays warm here to in october but come around Halloween its starts to cool off a lil bit... you can smell these bucks when they get near you.. they got that musky smell to them .. they are rank ass mofos... i hunt bug bucks first 2-3 weeks of november.. thats the rut around here.. b4 that and after i kill anything that walks by..lol
