Shaquille O'Neal(notes) is keeping people guessing. The 7-1 center has played for five teams and is looking for another to play for. O'Neal, 38, wants to play for two more years and was said to be negotiating such a deal with the Atlanta Hawks, according to an AOL FanHouse report the other day.
Now FanHouse is reporting that the "first choice" for Shaq in his quest to earn his fifth NBA championship is the San Antonio Spurs, and they have some interest.
Don't worry, Hawks fans. Shaq also has your team at the "top of his list."
Shaq joining Spurs?

Shaq is a has been, 10 years past his prime. I won't even take him on my team. That dude needs to retire and go be a sheriff. Maybe if he lost 80lbs I would consider him, but he seems to get bigger every year. Watch his ass come back weighing 400 plus lbs. People just need to know when to call it quits, it's only hurting his career as one of the all time best centers. ANY THOUGHTS ANYONE???????????????

Shaq is only sticking around to make some more money. With his divorce & notorious spending habits, Shaq probably needs money just as bad as the rest of us.

He needs to retire but if he keeps playing the celtics would be a good choice.

I agree...He is no longer dominant but he does have a big ol body...He can bang and take up space in the paint and maybe mentor a younger big man..For the right price, he may still hold some value..
