A co worker of mine informed me about the "HCG" diet plan with homeopathic hcg drops and not the injections. Did some research on it and the diet does work, co worker lost 30lbs in a month and others 22lbs etc. Has anyone tried it, heard about it or completed the course? Ebooks are available for the recommended diet plans, however, 500 calorie a day diet plan seems to be somewhat unhealthy to me in my opinion....

A lady at work has been on it for a bit now and swears by it. I would not even consider this if your goal is to maintain your hard earned muscle. Seems great for weight loss, but not specifically fat loss. Nothing compares to a solid diet and AM fasted cardio IMO. There are some other supplements that can enhance that a bit, but fundamentally diet and cardio is what makes the magic happen.

I told my wife about this and now she wants to do it. She looked at her work and they are carrying the hcg, but it is a 1oz bottle and they want $90 for it. I told her with those prices the store is crazy and I seen it for a third of that. I am not gonna stop her if she wants to get some online and give it a try, we do the am cardio and eat real healthy and workout together everyday and I am losing 1-2lbs a day but she has stopped losing now and is just staying the same even though we do the exact same thing.

Is this the 500 calorie a day diet? If so how are you going to avoid catabolism of precious muscle? Wouldn't your body go into a starvation mode? Yes, you may loose weight, but is there a rebounding effect after?
Obviously I haven't read up on exactly how this craze diet works, but most usually any calorie deficit that goes below 800 your body starts to dig into muscle stores, instead of excess fuels. Yeah you loose weight, but you'd also be loosing what helps to burn and utilize the excess fuels in the first place.
I'm gonna have to look into this diet to see what exactly it consists of.

$90 per bottle? huh, google the HCG you can find it very cheap on "Amazon or Ebay" just make sure you are buying quality. My friend did the same thing, went to a doctor and the doctor prescribed the "HCG" diet with the oral drops at the end of the office visit it cost her almost $200 for one bottle and a info booklet which you can download for free online if you know how to search for it...

Good luck

What's the website, share the info w member maybe they could use the help~ smile.gif~ However, you can also shop for it on your own and maybe even save money at the end. Usually a lot of vendors are just resellers who profit from the sales that they make unsure.gif wacko.gif
