How many of you guys have had your shoulders fixed. I jacked mine up at a rodeo about 8 years ago and have been tuffing it out, but age is starting to win. I can't hardly sleep at night now. The damn thing pops everytime i move it and yes it aches all the time. Can't move any heavy weight, i know i sound like a puss but i just don't want to be down that long, but i gotta do it this winter.
Those that have had it done, how long was the recovery?
P.S. By the way the kettel balls in my avatar are the most weight that i can do side raises with right now.
Gotta get the shoulder fixed

Broke my left clavicle near the joint as a kid when I got blown out of a tree in a storm...stupid shit kids typically do. In my case the bone was set as it was a clean break and whole arm in a sling. Right now it gives me some shit due to spurs forming.

Cowboytroy have you been given a diagnosis from a doctor as to what the problem is? Rotator, Labrum, bursitis, arthritis, etc.......

DGAF had surgery on his a year or two ago I think, ya might give him a shout. Usualy is at BBE.
Cap'n PECS had a Hill-Sachs Fracture which took surgery to fix it anc keep it in place. This kind of injury I'd image pretty much screws you over for heavy lifitng.

I just had my rotator cuff repaired in late April and now in mid-June, I'm back to work. I credit my 25+ years of strength training for my quick return. Of course, the doctor says that it may be a couple of years before I'm 100% healed and able to train chest and delts like I used to. But for now, I have chill with the lighter weights until I'm completely healed.

RC injuries are nasty shit...I had an RC injury early last year that was merely a severe strain and not a tear so was able to return to lifting within a few months
Any kind of shoulder injury has impact IMO
