I think that the believers on this board need to make a concerted effort to post more bodybuilding related topics. Paul said that he became all things to all men that he might win some. Right now, when someone logs on and hits new content, all they see are "religious" posts and will likely leave. That isn't serving anyone... nor is it bringing people into the kingdom. It's the equivalent of getting hit over the head with the bible. Let's focus on making the board a little more well-rounded and then when opportunity arises we can share Christ or they can come in to this section on their own and get help. This is just my .02, but I know that's how many feel as they have told me.
"Religion" or Bodybuilding

While I always enjoy making new christian friends and appreciate the daily devotions, I joined for the bb knowledge and motivation primarily. I'm seeking balance by focusing on my physical health as my spirit is strong but the flesh is weak. If someone on the board needs prayer support or wants to dialogue about or even challenge my faith, bring it! I'm always ready to 'talk God'; but, I'm here to challenge myself to an ever increasing status of health as a steward of this body I've been given. I hope to make friends across the board as there's a lot of experience here and, as Paul said, 'win some' just by knowing me.

and Exactly who are they that are saying this? @ II
Yes I think God would hold us accountable if we have the knowledge to help people in health and don't, sure he can use you as a channel to bless people with your knowledge of fitness, nutrition or whatever your good at.
I have much more to say but dont care to in the open realy. Nothing negative against anyone just personal thoughts.
I think I know what your refering to though lol.

Interesting point. Sensitive subject to say the least......
Definitely more religion on this board than others, I'm good with that. I think some of us vets, myself included, should work harder to talk AAS and BB and educate on that more. I'm just as guilty for not posting more often.
I say keep the religious posts constant......but we step up the other topics.

Agreed. Continue to post as the Spirit directs you...above all be obedient and shine a light; but, I think, if I understood correctly, the original suggestion was not really to lesson religious postings but to just post additional content for a balanced website. And it sure would be a testament to this board if it wasn't a touchy subject as there's plenty of space for both. Those who take offense to the religious portions might take offense no matter how much/little here. But what makes this site different is the equal respect given to both the bodily and spiritual health of the individual, how refreshing! BBing should never become an idol, should never be first place in one's life, that's reserved for One; but, we are also to be strong physically & mentally to fulfill the works He has for us. Being either slothfully unhealthy or ignorant doesn't make for a very good witness. Who wants to be like that?

Body is the temple of the Holy ghost and he expects you to take care of it for sure. Your right there is balance there, I've learned this lesson two times the hard way. Actualy the first I had nothing to do with but it turned into quite a miracle.

Agree with those posting in here. Don't need a decrease in Christian posting just an increase in other topics, specifically bodybuilding. Otherwise we end up "preaching to the choir."
SHINE: I've read in a couple of threads on other boards that this was the reason they stopped coming - all religious posts and no training related. Most recently thread on HCM. Just something to be aware of.
