Squats:
135X12
225X10
315X10
405X10
455X6
I could have gone the whole 10 reps on this last set I think. I just wasn't there mentally and my tendonitus in my arms was flairing up. I hate that. Nice short workout though.

425X5 briefs, slippers
515X2 briefs, slippers, belt, & new Deadlift suit
583X2 """"
633X3/4 """"Only three quarters up?
541X3 120 sec's rest
541X3 120 sec's rest
541X3 120 sec's rest
Stiff Deads:
315X5
385X5
425X5
Shrugs:
405X8
473X8
525X5 Almost passed out here. What a trip.
Not too bad of a workout considering I am pretty freaking sick. I hope I didn't shut down my CNS system or mess it up more.
The suit felt like it was going to blow my head off from the pressure. I have some real nasty pinch marks too. I may try to wear this suit again and get used to it. I was worried about it being hard to get used too. Hopefully I will be getting used to it soon. My meet is coming up March 5th. I can now see the upper part of the lift is going to give me a little problem. If anyone has any tips for the next couple weeks please feel free to say something.

Thanks bro. I have been having some pretty good workouts for the most part. I can't wait for this contest to be over though. I am ready to play around with some real light weights for a while. It's wearing me down, and now I freakin sick. I think I need a little break.

Wnt2bbeast, thanks bro. I just picked up a Titan custom deadlift suit. It's the first deadlift suit I have ever used. I'm not so sure yet that it's any better than a squat suit. Time will tell. I usually lift without a suit but thought, what the heck? It's legal. The straps may be just a tad too long, but they are real tight at the bottom of the dead. I guess that's where it's supposed to help the most anyway, at the bottom of the lift. My problem is my midsection is pretty thick and when I squat down it feels like the pressure is going to blow my head off. I will have to put it on sooner when lifting to get it in the right spot.
I took a half day off work today. I'm really sick and totally zapped.
Peace,

This was a see how I feel workout. I have my contest coming up Saturday and am not 100% sure I am going yet. I've been sick and have not trained much. Burnt out too???
Deads:
135X8 <<<suit & briefs
225X6
315X3
405X1<<< belt
501X1
551X1
That was it, short and sweet. Felt pretty easy I guess. If I make the contest I'll open at 600 again and just do what I can. I would be happy to just do what I did at the last meet considering my training lately.

Well, I decided to go ahead and do my deadlift only meet, even though I have been sick and my workouts have suffered. I would have just been more depressed and pissed at myself for not going. Anyway,
Deads:
135X10
225X6
335X3
425X1
525X1
575X1
Opener--600X1
2nd------650X1
3rd------683Xmissed
The 650 flew off the ground to lockout and did not feel bad at all. I had a strong suspision that I would miss the next lift due to grip. I was right. I pulled the 683 off the ground pretty easy, but before it even got to my knee's I lost my grip, the bar spun, and I tore off the same damn callous I did the last time. I said going into the meet I would be very happy with just getting my opener, and I did that plus got my 2nd. So, I'm pretty happy with everything. I ended up with a nice gold medal and a nice plaque for outstanding dead lift.
I am ready to download and train with some much lighter weights for quite a while now. I think I need that break. Maybe I can focus on some of my weeker points now and incorporate some new methods of training.
Peace,

youve got the right idea for a new training cycle..i would stop deadlifting altogether but i would only work up to a heavy double or single say once every 5-7 weeks..
i made the mistake of not doing any deads and i payed for it so now theyre always in there..i may do reps, sumo, pulls against bands, rack work, speed deads with bands, block pulls..

Bench:
135X20
225X8
315X5
345X2
375X2
405X2
425X2
Raw. No spot or lift off's. Pretty sure I could have done another 25lbs. for a single but didn't think it was too wise to push the envelope. Felt pretty good considering it has been a month since I benched last. I thought I would get one last heavy workout in before I go lighter and for more reps. I could tell my endurance was shot big time.
Pushdowns:
80X20
100X12
120X10
Short and sweet but I'm pretty happy anyway. If I get up the energy I may do one heavy squat workout this week too and call it quits on the heavy weight (heavy to me) for a while. Yipppeee.
