I'm going to be starting my cycle pretty soon and read up and really like the max-ot program.It pretty basic and the volume does not look extreme even though you will be lifting 5 days in a row.It keeps the reps at 4-6.Any of you guys tried it?

I will.If the 5 days are too much they suggest to drop to 4.How was your experience with it bro?

I tried it. Good results in the begining (first 6wks) then it really got stale.

I done it for 2 years(12weeks on, 2weeks off-NO WORKING OUT!) I enjoyed the gains, but now I'm paying the price with a sore back.
Getting old doesnt help either, but for good gains, it works. just limit yourself 10-12 weeks, then take off time..

Yeah i'm going to take a week off after 10-12 weeks.I'm 31 so i will need to pay attention to my body.I have been down cycling my lifts so i am ready to hit it hard for the max ot cycle.The test wont hurt either

I had good results for the first 6 weeks too, then also got stale. Maybe try the 3 day a week version listed in the "extra workouts" section of AST's members area. Worked well for me.

I had good results, but like I said my joints took a pounding... Body started to adapt to fast, then I had to change routine completely.... My joints began to feel better with more recovery days..
