Hey thanks for noticing I disapeared. I have been sick a lot (last couple weeks). I have three kids and I think they are all carriers...lol. I have also been a little depressed lately. I think it's in part due to all the hard training I have been doing. I have been training hard for the last two contests starting back around September with no real downloading phase. I am supposed to be doing a contest this Saturday, but I haven't trained in the last couple weeks. On top of that I drank too much last week. I don't usually do that but I did last week while I was on the road working. I was going to see if I could even still deadlift my bodyweight, Haha, tuesday and then consider the contest Saturday. I think I will have to pass on it though. That's even more depressing. I was really wanting that 700 to fall and was not far from it for sure. There's alway next time though. I may just do a mock contest at home and get it on video. I really want to just hit the light weights for a bit and give my body a break.

Thanks bro, and I always look forward to reading your journal. It's a great motivation for me, especially lifting at home by myself. I feel like I have a workout partner so to speak.

Peace,
Mad_dawg

i hear ya..youre smart for not training while sick it hits your cns harder and delays your recovery..use the time to rest up and when your ready youll hit it hard again!!!
