Bros,
I finally decided to give the new "esterfied" creatine a try the other day and i purchased SAN's CM2 (taking creatine is a must when you're "off" I've found). Well, I read up on it and it looked like a good product, not to mention I like their products in general, but i have to post my experiences here.
Every time, EVERY TIME, after taking this product (on an empty stomach for increased absorption), after about 15-20 minutes, i begin to feel a hot tingling all over my scalp, my face, and my arms. Kinda like a sunburn tingle, you know, where you feel like your skin is tight and irritated. Now, it does not really hurt or impair my movement, and it goes away in about 10 mins or so, but i gotta tell you, its very disturbing and i am a little scared to continue taking this product. I am wondering what it is doing to my body to cause this type of reaction. Now, there is some fancy kind of Arginine in this product also, as well as B-Alanine, but i have taken creatine before with no probs (other than some bloating), NO products with no probs, hell, i dont ever really have any probs with any supps but this one makes my skin feel WEIRD!! Do any of you know what this is or why this is occurring? Have any of you had this happen to you? and last, have any of you taken this particular brand of creatine? Please let me know as I am feeling that i may discontinue using this product as its freakin me out. Thanks bros

Still sounds like Niacin to me (especially if you said stomach cramps with the skin irritation). Is there a number you can call on the bottle to ask the company what might be causing this and if there is indeed any niacin in it?

mad_dawg - i called the number for SAN (on the bottle) but no one there really couldnt answer my question. And, the number went to a company directory and i was like "fuck, i dont know which person to select", so i just picked one and it turned out to be a dead end. However, i went to a reputable supplement store today where the owner is an actual BB/supplement user and I was told that other customers have all had this type of reaction to the product. I feel a little better that its not just me, but i stilll am wary.
Oh yeah, i took it again today before i lifted and still had the same results (btw, no stomach upset at all, just the skin irritation/tingling). I am really stupified..... ???
